Fun, bold, exciting and adventurous, our comprehensive 200 Hr Yoga Teacher Training is a fusion of artful expression, spiritual practice and personal development. Our faculty are devoted to the path of consciousness and embodiment and are experts in their field. Our emphasis on the training is Vinyasa Flow though we recognise all practices as paths of conscious evolution. You will delve deeply into Asana, Pranayama and Meditation on this training. Vinyasa Flow is the main style of focus and we also incorporate Hatha, Yin and Ecstatic Dance so that you may find your way and share your authentic and unique voice as a teacher.

Kate Middleton is the founder of Gili Yoga, an experienced Yoga Teacher Trainer and Vice World Champion Freediver. She has been deeply immersed in the practice of yoga, meditation and Freediving as a spiritual practice for the last 10 years. Originally from Victoria, BC, Canada, she is a child of the universe and a lover of animals, nature and adventures. Authentic, supportive and playful, Kate’s teaching will encourage you to embrace yourself and embody your potential. She thrives on community, movement, nourishment and love and has created this Teacher Training as a way to share and celebrate all of that.
200 Hr Yoga Teacher Training Schedule
We value authentic connections. We take a maximum of 20 students on our Yoga Teacher Trainings to ensure a personalised approach to your development as a yoga student and teacher. Our 200 Hr YTT is a deep dive into self study, embodied practice and conscious community.
A Day in the Good life
Here is a sample schedule of a day on our Yoga Teacher Training.

09.00AM – 10.00AM : Breakfast break
10.15AM – 11.15AM : Sharing Circle and Group Work
11.30AM – 01.30PM : Class (Anatomy, physiology, philosophy etc)
01.30PM – 03.30PM : Lunch break, (time for the beach, massages etc)
03.30PM – 05.30PM : Class, practice lab, teaching practice
7:30 pm – Evening events on certain nights

The Yoga Garden at Gili Yoga is a sanctuary of peace in the heart of Gili Trawangan. Our rooms are set in our tropical garden, surrounding the beautiful yoga shala so that you may wake up and step straight into your morning practice. All of our rooms are modern and charming with cleanliness and comfort being a top priority. Our rooms all have Air Conditioning, hot and fresh water, wifi, Satellite TV, mini fridges, safety deposit boxes and even blackout curtains to ensure deep, healing sleeps.
We believe that nourishment is a fundamental practice of self love. Breakfast is included during your training and will be offered as a buffet style group meal each day. Breakfast options are vegan, gluten free and heart warmingly delicious.
We have schedule a long enough break for lunch and dinner so that you may explore different options and rest and relax during meal time. You may eat where you like though we highly recommend that you honour yourself with your food choices during your training. We have a health conscious high vibe cafe onsite and offer healing food from raw to paleo to macrobiotic preferences.

Our October – November Teacher Training is a full 28 days which gives you time to learn, practice, evolve and build confidence in your teaching before taking it onwards and upwards from here. A full month of training is quite luxurious and goes way above and beyond the Yoga Alliance 200 Hr Requirements. This ensures a comprehensive program that allows time to integrate, study, practice and even enjoy island life outside of the yoga shala 😉 We take a maximum of 20 students for an intimate group feel and plenty of individualised attention. We ensure a high quality program at a very competitive price.
Our November residential pricing includes full tuition, your YTT Manual, 28 nights accommodation in our beautiful yoga sanctuary and a daily healthy, buffet breakfast. We are offering our accommodation at up to 50% off our regular rates for our Trainees so that you may enjoy the best environment for learning and teaching. Residential places are likely to sell out first so I recommend reserving sooner rather than later if you wish to stay onsite. We also have a discounted early bird pricing available when the full payment is made 4 months prior to the start date.
